Sheriff John Pollack is a graduate of the National Sheriff Institute, the Michigan Sheriff’s Associations, Undersheriff’s Executive Development Training and the New Sheriff’s Leadership Institute. After serving in the US Army, Sheriff Pollack returned home to begin his law enforcement career in Michigan with the Bronson Police Department. He then went on to serve on the Sturgis Police Department and finally the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Pollack is a graduate of Wayne County Sheriff’s Academy and went on to serve Branch County as a Patrol Sergeant, Undersheriff and finally Sheriff. Sheriff Pollack was elected and began his first term in Office, January 1, 2013; he is the 43rd Sheriff to be elected in Branch County.
